How to Play Kings Cup Extreme

Kings Cup Extreme is the chaotic, unhinged version of the classic drinking game. It’s designed for players who are ready to suffer (for fun) and maybe question their life choices afterward.

  1. Set up your war zone: What you’ll need:
  1. Spread the cards around the cup: Sit in a circle, put the King’s Cup in the middle, and lay the cards out face-down. This is your battlefield.

  2. Go around and draw a card: Each card has an extreme twist—nothing mild, nothing gentle. Pull a card? Prepare to scream, sweat, or suffer.

  3. Use the Extreme Rule Set: These are not your basic “make a rule” vibes. Some sample chaos:

  1. Commit to the bit: This version is best played by people who are down for public embarrassment, disgusting challenges, and full-send energy.

  2. Play until you break (or someone cries): The game technically ends when the 4th King is drawn. But you can always keep going… if you dare.

Pro tip: Have water, snacks, and a couch ready. Extreme Kings Cup doesn’t mess around.

Extreme Kings Cup Rules

Now, if you’re looking for a more intense challenge, you can always amp up the action with Kings Cup Extreme. This version of the game is perfect for people who want to take the party to a whole new level.

Ace: Waterfall of Doom

Everyone starts drinking at the same time. No one can stop until the person to their right does. But here’s the twist: the person who drew the Ace can pause and resume the waterfall whenever they want. Evil.

2: Double Trouble

“You” becomes two people. The drawer picks two people to drink, and they must link arms and drink at the same time. Bonus: if they spill, both drink again.

3: Me & My Shadow

The drawer drinks—and picks a “shadow.” Whatever the drawer does (drink, dance, yell), their shadow must mimic them until the next round. Break character? Take a shot.

4: Floor is Lava

Everyone has five seconds to touch the floor. Last person to do it drinks and has to stay on the floor for the rest of the round. Commit.

5: Guys & Dares

All guys drink—but before they sip, they must complete a mini dare given by the drawer. No dare? Double the drink.

6: Chicks & Truths

All girls drink—but before sipping, they must answer a brutally honest question asked by the drawer. Skip the truth? Take a shot.

7: All-In

This one’s for the brave – everyone at the table must pour their entire drink into the King’s Cup. Whoever draws the 7 drinks it. Good luck.

8: Pass the Bottle

Pick a player to drink from a bottle everyone has shared. They get to choose what happens next—keep drinking, pass it, or pour it into someone’s drink. Touch the bottle? You drink.

9: The Wheel of Misfortune

The drawer must spin a “Wheel of Misfortune,” or choose a number between 1-10 if there’s no wheel. Each number leads to a mini punishment—think “shot of soy sauce,” “wear socks as gloves,” or “text your crush.”

10: The Ultimate Shot

Everyone must pour a shot of anything into the King’s Cup. Could be beer, tequila, milk—whatever. Whoever draws the 10 drinks the entire cup. Respect if you survive.

Jack: Rule Master: Savage Edition

The drawer makes a rule, but it must be evil. Example: “No eye contact” or “Speak only in accents.” Break it? Take two sips and do 5 jumping jacks.

Queen: Question Roulette

The drawer starts a lightning round of questions. Every answer must be a question. First person to mess up drinks and must confess the most embarrassing thing on their phone.

King: Sudden Death

The person who draws the fourth King drinks the King’s Cup as usual—but here’s the twist: they also have to take a mystery dare from the group with no vetoes allowed. Trust issues will be born.
